Our only purpose is to give our love, respect and service to Allāh ﷻ but if given the opportunity every person would be a pharaoh. His ego would declare itself the highest lord. We must kill the dragon that is our ego and then we will find Allāh ﷻ with us and around us and within us.
Perfect Communities on Earth
Allāh’s ﷻ Greatness cannot be imagined. He ﷻ uses perfect methods. He ﷻ chose Sayyidunā Muḥammad ﷺ for only one mission: To create perfect communities on Earth. His ﷺ tribe could not accept an orphan then, now too, mankind cannot understand his ﷺ importance. However, signs of perfection will appear both in the East and the West
Hārūn ar-Rashīd and ibn ‘Arabī
If you obey your nafs you cannot obey Allāh ﷻ. If you do not obey Allāh ﷻ how can you call yourself a Muslim? When we are calling ourselves Muslim we are lying and no good can come of the deeds of the liar. The Awliyā’ have great authority given them by Allāh ﷻ because they obey Him ﷻ. They must help those in need. Who doesn't respect the Awliyā’ is astray. Mawlānā tells the story of the meeting of Sulṭān Hārūn ar-Rashīd with the saint ibn ‘Arabī.
Knowledge and Arms
Mawlana directs this talk towards young believers. He encourages them to strike against unbelief and non-believers using the way of knowledge, just as the Prophet initially used logic and reason against the polytheists of Mecca. The time to bear arms will come only when the one who holds full authority gives that order to all Muslims.
You Do Not Know It!
Mawlānā discusses the disrespect that the ‘ulamā’, the imāms and the mu’adhdhinūn show toward the Prophet ﷺ by not giving ṣalawāt after the adhān. He reveals the true nature of the Wahhābī movement and their age-old disrespect for the Prophet of Allāh ﷺ.
The Prophet, ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, sent the Byzantine Emperor Heraclius an invitation to Islām. Heraclius nevertheless was not to be blessed with Islām, despite acknowledging Islām as a religion of Truth and our Master as the True Prophet.
The Last Breath
Faith is a gift from Allāh ﷻ that is given to everyone but the time of its appearance is different. For some it only appears at the last breath when Allāh ﷻ takes His ﷻ servant to Himself.
Wa-Fir‘awna Dhi l-Awtād (89:10)
Fir‘awn was given everything in order to allow him the chance to choose the right path. The Muslim world is being whipped and has no power. Why? Because it has chosen to follow its own mind instead of obedience to the Lord. The Ḥujjāj call Labbayk only for the moment of Ḥajj then they return to the service of shayṭān. Wake up. The believer is the one who rules his ego and rides shayṭān.
In this interesting sohbat Mawlana explains the blessings of the month of Mawlid. The Prophet (sas) is the spiritual sun of mankind. Without the sun there is no life. This fact is known by all although their pride makes them deny it. Even Abu Jahl knew the truth but he followed in the pattern of shaytan in being too proud to accept.
What Is Ṭarīqah?
Mawlānā addressed the Dagestanis about the meaning of Ṭarīqah and some of the famous Naqshbandī Shaykhs from Dagestan. He warns them against the Wahhābī teachings that are taking the young Muslims away from Ṭarīqah and the way to Allāh ﷻ.
According to What You Ask For
Be careful about what you ask for, because you get "According to What You Ask For".
In Lefke, Mawlana explained how our youth can be wasted.
