The non-believer is not clean according to the Qur’ān and they are denied entry to Mecca and Medina. Just saying a few words, lā ilāha illā Llāh Muḥammadur Rasūlu Llāh, will clean you. The Prophet ﷺ also used to advise making a promise to give charity if you heal from an illness.

Run to Allāh ﷻ
