A People He Loves

Mawlana gives a strong address to the Egyptians, the Iranian President, and to Mr. Ekmeleddin of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Power, respect, and beauty are not individual achievements but are the bounty of Allah Almighty given to His obedient servants. Muslims do not look for the eternal heavenly jewels but instead they look for the black, stick, smelly, oil under the Earth. Allah Almighty orders His servants, "Iltamisu Nura - Seek the Nur" (57:13). What Muslims do, however, is to "Iltamisu Nifta - Seek the Petrol!". For this they sacrifice their humanity and spiritual well-being.

He Could Not Save Himself

Mawlana asks, How can "He Who Could Not Save Himself" save others? Without spirituality Man is like a flower cut off the tree; his life and his usefulness are limited. He cannot give real life to himself or to others. A Man without spirituality is an image without a reality. Islam is exalted; it allows no images, no idols. Remember the grave in order to know the true value of this world!

The Beloved Ones

What gives distinction to human life is the search for "The Beloved Ones". By means of the sad story of the one who, seeking a full life, sold everything, left his village, and went to Istanbul. Only then did he realize that what makes a life full is not the number of objects or people that fill it but rather "The Beloved Ones". By then it was too late. Islam commands, "O servants of Allah, Be brothers - وكونوا عباد الله إخوانا" but without being servants you cannot be brothers, 'Beloved ones'.

He gives a strong warning also to Iranians, Saudis, Ikhwanis, and all false Madhdhabs, and also to all the 'Ulamas who remain silent about what they know.

Mawlana prays Allah for a Sultan who can direct the steps of the people towards their Lord Almighty (swt).

We're Hungry

Honey is described in Quran as "فِيهِ شِفَاءٌ لِّلنَّاسِ - in which there is healing for men" (16:69). If what the bee gives us has such a power than what about the Word that Allah gives us, The Quran? In realizing, "O My Lord, You Are My Only Aim - إلهي أنت مقصودي" lies the realizing of the power of BismiLlah.
