All prophets respected the 10th of Muḥarram. Our Prophet (sas) loved it and gave us the 9th as well to begin the barakah. Peace and happiness come from following the Prophet (sas) not from following dunyā looking for money, or schooling, or position.
You Get What You Deserve
Oct09 2016 English 31min
You get what you deserve so be a good one. Be merciful to those around you and Allāh will be merciful to you. Try to be good and Allāh will send you a good ruler. He tells the story of the tyrant king who was chosen by a bird.
Ask for the Sky
Oct08 2016 English 22min
On the spiritual way ask only from Allāh. When asking from Allāh don’t ask for small favors because Allāh is the most generous. Ask for the sky. He tells the story of the baker who put his dough in the sea asking Allāh to use it for goodness.
The Donkey, the Lion and the Fox
Oct04 2016 English 19min
Shaykh Bahauddin tells the story of the donkey, the lion and the fox to illustrate the point that if you don’t have firm belief in your heart, shayṭān will deceive you and bring you to ruin. The illness of today is worry, fear, and suspicion. Keep faith in your Shaykh and in the awliyā’.
The Islamic New Year
Oct02 2016 English 24min
New Year. New Beginning. We don’t welcome it with celebration but with fasting. Allāh did not send us here to celebrate. Dunyā is a test and if we resist the shiny plastic of shayṭān we pass. The soul is Allāh's grant of life and we hold it in trust. It belongs to Him.
The Biggest Favour
Sep20 2016 Turkish 19min
The biggest favour Allāh can give is belief. A person becomes Muslim by tongue but a believer is by heart. A believer knows that everything is from Allāh and is happy with it, no fighting, no complaining, no fear. One kind of Awliyā’ has such strong belief that they do not interfere even to save a drowning man.
Arḥamu r-Rāḥimīn
Sep19 2016 Turkish 14min
The Ḥujjāj have completed their duties and are going home clean. Shayṭān is waiting to make them dirty again. But as much as we don’t tire in sinning, Allāh Almighty doesn’t tire in forgiving. He is the most Merciful of the Merciful.
Like a Round Rock
Sep18 2016 Turkish 13min
A Muslim should be strong in his belief but soft in his dealings with people, especially parents. A Muslim knows the value of everything, even small things, and doesn’t waste water or pollute the earth. Be like a rock, hold hard to your belief but without sharp corners that will harm others.
‘Umrah without Ḥajj?
Sep17 2016 Turkish 19min
Islām is the perfect system and Allāh made it clear. It is wrong to say something is allowed when it is not but it is also a sin to say something is not allowed when it is. Shaykh Efendi addresses the question of whether it is permissible to make ‘Umrah before you have made Ḥajj.
The Way of Truth
Sep16 2016 Turkish 25min
Once you believe Islām forgives all sins like the shepherd who died shahīd before having prayed even once. Shaṭān is stubborn and never forgives. We follow the Prophet (sas) and the Qur’ān, the way of truth. But even on this way there can be those who are misguided and misguiding. So be careful.
Then He Cures Me (26:80)
Sep15 2016 Turkish 18min
Be careful what you eat and drink. In what and how you eat lies the cure for most illness. All healing comes from Allāh. See a doctor if you must but ask Allāh to cure you by means of the doctor or medicine and this will be rewarded as worship.

Don’t Cheat
Sep13 2016 Turkish 14min
Don’t cheat people by looking better on the outside than you are inside. If you wear the dress of the Prophet (sas) you must have good behavior and try always to be better or it is like praying without wuḍū’. And don’t let shayṭān cheat you by wearing a turban and jubbah.
Millati Ibrāhīm (2:130)
Sep12 2016 Turkish 13min
We should not be proud of our national origins rather we should be proud to be Millati Ibrāhīm, in the way of S. Ibrāhīm (as), and Ummati Muḥammad, the nation of S. Muḥammad (sas). The Ḥajj is a gift of S. Ibrāhīm. He and his son Ismā‘īl built the Ka‘bah on Allāh's orders and he called the people to come. Lucky are the ones who answered.

Sep11 2016 Turkish 14min
"We accept You, O our Lord and we are coming. What You say we accept and are happy to do." These are the most beautiful words in Islām. Today the pilgrims are on ‘Arafāt and at maghrib they become Ḥajjī. One day a year, certain place, certain people. All other pilgrimages are imitations.
Love the Prophet ﷺ
Sep10 2016 Turkish 22min
Today is Yawmu t-Tarwiyah. We give thanks a 1000 times to Allāh for making us among the Nation of the Beloved. To love him is obligatory, more than your family or yourself. But to love him is also easy because Allāh made him the finest and best. Even in dreams he smells of roses. Our intention is to follow his sunnah and we ask forgiveness for what we cannot do.
