Especially in Ramaḍān it is important to be good with people and with family. Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim (q) used to say there are common people (‘awām) and special people (khawāṣ). The common person just thinks about his material life, is envious, and fights with people. The special person wants for others what he wants for himself. Ṭarīqah people are special.
